Hotel Du Stand - Martigny

Loved the location near the Fondation Pierre Gianadda and the breakfast was a tasty mix of fresh baguettes and scrambled eggs. The shared bathroom situation was a bit awkward during busy times, but the clean room made up for it.

charming, fit our budget

the property is clean; beautifully decorated rooms; comfortable bed. it has a nice bar and attentive and very amiable staff. the attached restaurant serves excellent food. think that this great hotel is beyond compare, greatly enjoyed it.

I stayed for 2 nights to visit the nearby Fondation Pierre Gianadda, which was just a short walk away. The room was warm, quiet, and clean. Breakfast was a good treat with scrambled eggs, fresh baguettes, and great coffee that kicked off my mornings perfectly. The location is very convenient, with a charming scenic view of the mountains from my room.

Good value for our one night trip. Good location to visit the Monet exhibition which is really near. Good price and the staff was very kind.

If you're a foodie, the nearby Le Bourg Ville is a gem for a quick bite. The tartines are to die for! Plus, our Triple Room was perfect for three guys on a motorbike trip, cozy and easy check-in.

That said, the quilt was too small for the bed-a single size on a double bed. Talk about quilt tug-of-war! The shower was a bit too snug, with a clingy curtain that didn't do us any favors.

The staff was helpful and spoke English passably. The woman who checked us in was willing to look up bus schedules for the next morning. A decent breakfast buffet was included in the rate.

The room was fairly Spartan and the beds were quite hard with very thin pillows. The tv didn't work, though we didn't complain about it.

This hotel had the best breakfast croissants I've had in a long time. Even though I was alone, I had to book a room for two people, the hostess refunded the city tax appropriately and was always very courteous. They also spoke several languages which is always a plus and mostly only found in +4 star hotels.

The doors need urgent repair as one looks quite damaged!!! Some lights not working in the room definitely need attention!!! The overall cleanliness of the rooms should be improved with more regular checks!!!

The staff were lovely and helpful. The shared bathroom can be slightly inconvenient during peak hours.

clean room with great views

The location is ideal, close to the Fondation Gianada. My standard twin room was very clean and the bathroom functional, nice for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the mountain view from my room.

Fantastic location, just a short walk to the city center. And the staff were helpful with tours and ticket assistance. The leisure room was a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
